Okay so the whole deal with this quest is that you cannot defeat the berserkers, at least without a huge army, maybe, i dont know because at the time i didnt have any good units.

I see these things mentioned but it doesn't seem obvious how to get them. How do you get morrigan as a companion? how are you supposed to kill those damn berserkers? So i was trying to look up things about this quest, and there's whole parts of it i didn't see. when i met morrigan, i chose the conversation options that sided with her, then she yelled at me and jumped on my sword. by this point i had restarted in cheat mode, and the next five berserkers i saw died to the knockout cheat. i went on, and the other two 'heroes' met up with me and then refused to go on to find morrigan. the battle timed out, it seems, without any berserkers dying. ran into some more invincible berserkers, who killed the rest of my non-companion troops. i waited around, and then got a message that sent me to morrigan's lair. So then i met the other two heroes and ended up being sent back to the village. they killed some of my hard earned troops and then disappeared without a single death. then i ran into a band of seemingly invincible berserkers. The abbot sent me to help a village, the village sent me to meet two other heroes.
